Haitian Preservation
It is time for the Haitian Diaspora to learn, heal, and go back home.
Ayiti Community Trust is pleased to announce a new transformational arm of our foundation - Haitian Preservation.
Haitian Preservation is a cultural revival platform for Haitians in the diaspora seeking connection, healing, and pride - without shame, fear, or perfection.
As ACT’s for-profit extension, Haitian Preservation will strategically generate resources, with all profits directly reinvested into fueling ACT's work for a prosperous, self-sufficient Ayiti.
This is a transformational moment for both ACT and Haitian Preservation (HP), so expect to see some major shifts on both sides in the near future.

Activating Memwa: Remembering the Leaders Who Shaped Ayiti
October 17, 2026 | Virtual Experience
Ayiti Visionaries: Historical Figures is an opportunity to move beyond names and dates and discover the lives, leadership, and legacies of the Haitian figures who helped shape our nation.
Through storytelling, historical exploration, and community dialogue, participants will explore what Haitian leadership looked like in the past and what it can teach us today. From Toussaint Louverture and Jean-Jacques Dessalines to Marie-Jeanne Lamartinière, Agbaraya Toya, and other often-overlooked figures, this experience invites us to deepen our connection to Haiti's history and collective memory.
Join us on October 17 as we activate Memwa, strengthen our understanding of Haitian leadership, and uncover the stories that continue to shape Ayiti and its future.
We know their names. It's time to know their stories.

"Ayibobo" by Angie Bell
Watch the beautiful video, "Ayibobo", that has inspired the art direction of the Revolution of the Haitian Spirit revival series. Performed by Haitian community leader and multi-hyphenate powerhouse, Angie Bell, alongside Youry Vixamar.
Everything about this video enraptured us. It felt like an inhale and an exhale at the same time. May this transport you like it did us into a gentle celebration of the Haitian spirit.
